Instructions:

Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move around the dungeon.  Every move you make there is a chance the dungeon floor will continue to collapse around you.  Collect gold to buy helpful upgrades in town and be sure to grab the relic before you leave the dungeon.

As the dungeon breaks down pits will open up.  Use ropes to pass over the pits safely but watch out because falling in without a rope is game over.

Unbeknownst to the residents of the land of Zephnor their world is shaped by story and belief.  Collect the faith of the other villagers by telling stories in the bar and by successfully bringing back relics from the dungeon.  Their faith will make the dungeon more real and help it hold together longer.

This was built for Vimjam 2020.  This is my third game jam but my first attempt at a solo game jam so most of the time was spent learning how to do things like art and UI and generally how to do things with Unity that isn't just using colored shapes to visualize code.  Unfortunately this means I didn't have time for audio.  I know I could have saved a lot of time using opensource  assets but my challenge to myself was to learn how to do these things for myself.  There is a lot more features I wanted to add like villagers that give you challenges in exchange for upgrades but I still feel like I learned a lot from this experience.  Hopefully I will keep working on this and make it into more of a finished game.  For now thank you for checking out my game and if you have any suggestions I would be happy to hear from you down in the comments.
